Service Explained

What Is Professional Vinyl Printing?

Vinyl printing turns a design into a self-adhesive graphic that lives on a real surface — a vehicle panel, a plastered wall, shopfront glass or a shop floor. It is printing, laminating, cutting and applying, planned around the surface it has to sit on.

That is why the media is chosen before the artwork is printed. Cast vinyl conforms to curves, recesses and rivets and lasts years outdoors; calendered vinyl is more economical on flat surfaces. The wrong choice shows up as lifting edges and shrinkage within a season.

Common Vinyl Problems

Why Does Applied Vinyl Peel, Shrink or Bubble?

Vinyl rarely fails because of the print. It fails because an economical media was used on a curved or riveted panel, because the surface was dusty or freshly painted, or because the graphic was stretched into a recess without the right adhesive.

Surface preparation and media choice decide whether a wrap still looks new after two summers in Riyadh — everything else is secondary.

Edges Lifting

A calendered film on a curved panel pulls back at the corners within weeks.

Colours Fading Outside

Unlaminated print and the wrong inks lose colour in strong sunlight.

Bubbles & Creases

Dust, moisture or a rushed application traps air under the film.

Paint Pulled Off on Removal

A permanent adhesive on a weak or fresh paint film takes the paint with it.

Vinyl Types & Capabilities

Vinyl for Every Surface We Cover

Each graphic is quoted with the media and finish that suit its surface, its lifespan and whether it sits indoors, outdoors or underfoot.

Vinyl printed and applied as vehicle graphics on a van
Vehicle Graphics & Wraps

Full wraps, half wraps and panel graphics on cars, vans, trucks and trailers. Cast vinyl is used over curves and rivets, with the joints planned to fall on panel gaps, so the print looks painted on rather than stuck on. Doors, bonnets and sliding panels are cut separately, and a removable film is available for leased fleets.

Window vinyl graphics and frosted film applied to shopfront glass
Window Graphics & Frosted Film

Promotional window vinyl, opening hours and logo decals, frosted privacy bands and one-way vision film that reads on the outside while staff see out. Cut from the same roll as the rest of your graphics so the colour matches, and applied on the inside or outside face as the glass allows.

Wall Graphics & Murals

Printed feature walls, office murals, values statements and showroom backdrops, on removable wall film or on panels where the wall is uneven.

Floor Graphics

Floor vinyl with an anti-slip laminate for entrances, aisles, promo zones and exhibitions, cut to shape and specified for foot or trolley traffic.

Shopfront & Hoarding Vinyl

Shopfront fascias, mall hoardings and construction panels printed and installed in sections, with overlaps planned to be invisible.

Contour-Cut Decals

Logos, lettering and shapes kiss-cut or cut right through, supplied on backing or application tape ready to position.

Interior Office Graphics

Reception logos, door and meeting-room naming, policy and wayfinding graphics on vinyl or frosted film.

Exhibition & Event Vinyl

Stand panels, counter wraps and floor decals produced for a date, applied on site and removed cleanly afterwards.

Safety & Compliance Vinyl

Photoluminescent, reflective and hazard vinyl with the wording and shapes your safety file requires.

Reflective & Metallic Vinyl

Reflective graphics for night visibility, plus brushed and metallic finishes for premium interiors and retail.

Removal & Rebranding

Old graphics stripped, adhesive cleaned and surfaces prepared before new vinyl goes down, so a rebrand leaves no ghosting.

Supply-Only Printing

Printed, laminated, trimmed and pre-masked for your own fitter, with a scale drawing of each panel and its placement.

How It Works

From Surface Survey to Applied Graphic

A repeatable six-step flow that keeps media, artwork and fitting in step with each other.

01 Brief

Surface, size, indoor or outdoor use, duration and deadline are confirmed.

02 Survey & Prepress

The area is measured or templated and artwork is set up to final scale.

03 Proof Approval

Scale, colour, media and finish are approved before production.

04 Printing

UV or eco-solvent inks are laid down on the chosen vinyl to panel size.

05 Lamination & Cutting

Laminate is applied and each piece is trimmed or contour cut.

06 Install or Supply

Installed on site by our team, or delivered pre-masked with a placement guide.

Media & Finishing

Vinyl, Laminate and Adhesive Options

The film, its adhesive and its laminate together decide how long a graphic survives and where it can be applied.

Cast vinyl film used for full vehicle wraps

Cast Vinyl

Thin, highly conformable film that stays put over curves, recesses and rivets — the default for full vehicle wraps and long-life outdoor graphics.

Best onCurved, recessed and riveted panels.
Outdoor lifeFive to seven years with a UV laminate.
Calendered vinyl sheet applied to a flat panel

Calendered Vinyl

The economical choice for flat panels — windows, walls, boards and box vehicles, including campaign graphics that will be refreshed.

Best onFlat glass, walls, boards and panels.
Outdoor lifeTwo to three years with laminate.
Gloss and matt laminate over printed vinyl

Gloss / Matt Laminate

Gloss keeps colours saturated and lifts the print; matt reduces glare and hides fingerprints — usually the better finish on dark wall and vehicle graphics.

OptionsGloss, matt, anti-graffiti and anti-slip.
ProtectsInk, colour and the film itself from UV and abrasion.
Frosted privacy film and perforated one-way vision film

Frosted & One-Way Vision

Frosted film for privacy bands and meeting rooms, perforated one-way vision for shopfront glass that must still be seen through from inside.

Use forGlass doors, partitions, shopfront glazing.
Key considerationSee-through visibility depends on light levels.
Floor graphics vinyl with textured anti-slip laminate

Floor Graphics

A thicker film with a textured anti-slip laminate, specified for the traffic the area actually receives.

Use forEntrances, aisles, promo zones and exhibition floors.
Grade mattersTrolley routes need a heavier laminate than a showroom.

Quality Matters

Why Vinyl Quality Matters in Riyadh

Applied graphics are judged up close, every day, in strong sun. A wrap that has shrunk away from a rivet or faded into a patchy colour is a daily reminder of the price that was saved.

Heat and UV

Direct sun and high surface temperatures are the harshest test of ink, film and adhesive you can put a graphic through.

Dust Before Application

A single speck under the film becomes a visible bump — surfaces are cleaned and, where needed, primed first.

Curves and Rivets

Only film that is meant to stretch will hold on a curved, riveted or recessed panel.

Applications

Where Printed Vinyl Works Hardest

A few of the briefs we print and install most often across Riyadh.

Fleet Branding

Vans, pickups and trucks wrapped so every delivery in the city carries the brand. Panels are cut separately so doors and hatches still open cleanly.

Showrooms & Reception Walls

Feature walls, product walls and reception logos on removable wall film or on panels where the surface is rough or newly painted.

Shopfront Glazing

Promotional window vinyl, frosted privacy bands and opening-hours decals that make a shop front readable from the street.

Retail Floor Promotions

Aisle markers, entrance decals and campaign floor graphics with anti-slip laminate, printed to be walked over and then removed.

Office Interiors

Room naming, door graphics, values statements and wayfinding that match the signage and the print collateral.

Exhibitions & Stands

Stand panels, counters and floor decals produced to a show date, installed on site and taken down without leaving residue.

Vinyl media compared for vehicle, wall, window and floor graphics
Media Best For Typical Life Key Consideration

Removable Wall Film Painted walls, offices, campaigns 1–3 years Surface must be sealed and fully cured before application
One-Way Vision Shopfront glass, vehicles, privacy with see-through 3–5 years Visibility from inside depends on light levels
Frosted / Etched Film Privacy bands, meeting rooms, glass doors 5+ years indoors Cut shapes read best against a clean glass edge

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Vinyl Printing

Direct answers about surfaces, media, lifespan, artwork, installation and removal.

Vinyl applies to almost any smooth, sealed surface: vehicle panels and glass, painted or plastered walls, shopfront glazing, aluminium composite and acrylic panels, doors and floors. Rough or freshly painted surfaces need a test or a different media, and we confirm the surface before recommending a film.

Cast vinyl is thinner, more flexible and stays dimensionally stable, so it conforms to curves, recesses and rivets and lasts five to seven years outdoors. Calendered vinyl is more economical and is ideal for flat surfaces and shorter campaigns, typically up to two or three years with a laminate.

Yes, when the right combination is used: UV-cured or eco-solvent inks, cast or quality calendered media and a UV laminate. In Riyadh conditions that gives three to five years of outdoor life, and an anti-graffiti or clear protective laminate can be added on high-traffic panels.

Both. Our team installs vehicle graphics, wall wraps, window film and floor graphics across Riyadh, including surface preparation and removal of the old material. If you have your own fitter we supply the print laminated, trimmed and pre-masked ready to apply.

Vector artwork in AI, EPS or PDF is ideal because it scales to any panel size. For photographic or raster artwork, allow at least 100 to 150 dpi at the final printed size. Files are checked to scale before printing, and artwork can be set up or redrawn for a full wrap when needed.

Printed vinyl with a removable adhesive can be taken off cleanly from sealed walls, glass and vehicles, and we carry out removals as part of a change of branding. Results depend on how long the graphic has been applied and on the surface, so difficult surfaces are tested before a full installation.
