Service Explained

What Is Professional Brochure Printing?

Brochure printing turns a layout into a folded, finished document that a customer keeps — a tri-fold on the counter, a company profile in a meeting, a catalogue on a showroom table. It is printing plus folding, creasing and binding, planned together.

That is why the fold plan comes first. Panels, page order, paper weight and finish are decided before anything is printed, so the brochure opens the way it was designed and the crease does not crack on heavy stock.

Common Brochure Problems

Why Do Brochures Sometimes Look Amateur?

A brochure carries the brand into a meeting, a showroom or a hotel lobby. When the fold is off, the photographs print muddy or the paper feels thin, the document works against the business instead of for it.

Almost every problem starts before printing — a layout that was never built for the fold, images that are too small, or a paper chosen without checking the weight.

Layouts That Break at the Fold

Text and logos that land on a fold line look careless on the finished brochure.

Photos That Print Muddy

Low-resolution images stretched across a panel lose detail and depth.

Paper That Feels Cheap

Thin stock and the wrong finish make premium content feel inexpensive.

Late Brochures

A catalogue that arrives after the exhibition or the launch is wasted spend.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Brochure Printing

Direct answers about formats, page counts, paper stock, binding, turnaround and quoting.

A4, A5, A3, DL and square brochures in bi-fold, tri-fold, gate-fold and roll-fold layouts, plus multi-page booklets and catalogues. Any custom size can be produced from a flat dimension and a folding plan.

A leaflet is a single sheet printed one or both sides, a brochure is folded or stitched with several panels or pages, and a catalogue is a bound multi-page document, usually saddle-stitched or perfect bound.

Folded brochures usually have 4 to 12 panels. Stitched booklets run from 8 to 48 pages and catalogues are perfect bound from about 40 pages upwards. Page counts are built in multiples of four for binding.

Coated gloss or silk stocks from 130 to 250 gsm suit most brochures, uncoated and recycled papers give a softer editorial feel, and heavier boards with lamination are used for covers of catalogues and lookbooks.

Half-fold, tri-fold, gate-fold, roll-fold, saddle stitching, perfect binding and wiro binding are all available, with creasing on heavier stocks so the fold does not crack.

Yes. Gloss and matt lamination, soft-touch lamination, spot UV, foil stamping and embossing are produced on brochure covers and covers of catalogues and folders.

Digital brochure printing has a low minimum, so short runs and single copies are possible. Larger quantities are printed by offset, where the per-unit cost drops as the quantity rises.

Most brochures are produced within 2–5 working days of proof approval. Larger runs, perfect binding and special finishes take longer, and urgent brochures can be produced on our express Flying Printing schedule.

Yes. Brochures are designed or the supplied artwork is adapted to the fold plan, and prepress prepares a print-ready file with bleed, crop marks and correct page order.

Brand colors are matched against the brand guide, including Pantone references, and a proof is approved before printing so the colors are consistent across every print run.

Print-ready PDF is preferred, with AI, InDesign, PSD, CorelDraw and image files also accepted. Files should include 3 mm bleed, crop marks and images at 300 dpi.

Send the format, flat size, number of pages, paper or finish, quantity and your deadline on WhatsApp or by phone. A written quotation with the production time is provided free before any commitment.
