Service Explained

What Is Professional Business Card Printing?

A business card is the smallest printed item a company owns and usually the first one a customer keeps. Professional business card printing is really about three decisions: the board the card is printed on, the finish that protects it, and the accuracy of the cut and colour.

That is why the card is prepared to the exact trim size with bleed and safe margins, and why a proof is approved before printing. A card that curls, fades at the logo or arrives with white edges from a poor cut undoes the impression the design was meant to make.

Common Business Card Problems

Why Do So Many Business Cards Feel Cheap?

Almost every disappointing business card fails for a production reason, not a design reason. Thin board, a logo too close to the edge, colours that shift between two runs or a cut that is slightly out of square are the usual causes.

Each of these is decided before printing — which is why the board, the layout margins and the proof matter more than the paper order itself.

Board That Feels Thin

Cards below 350 gsm bend in the hand and crease in a wallet within a week.

Text Too Close to the Edge

Without safe margins the phone number or logo sits on the trim line and gets clipped.

Colour Drift Between Runs

Reordering later from different settings gives a card that no longer matches the first batch.

Cards Delivered Late

Cards that arrive after the exhibition, the launch or the new hire starts are useless.

Paper & Finishing

Board, Lamination & Fine Finishing

The board decides how the card feels; the finish decides how it survives. These are the options most businesses choose between.

Why It Matters

Why Does Business Card Quality Matter?

A card is handed over in the first thirty seconds of a relationship. Whether it bends, curls or feels substantial is decided long before that moment — in the board, the lamination and the cut.

Questions

Business Card Printing FAQs

The questions businesses ask before placing a business card order.

85 × 55 mm is the standard business card size in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region, and it is what most local card holders and wallets are built for. We also print 90 × 50 mm cards, square cards and custom die-cut shapes when the design calls for it, always from a flat dimension you approve on the proof.

350 gsm coated board is the everyday choice and 400–450 gsm gives the firm, premium feel most brands want. Cotton, linen and textured stocks are available for a tactile finish, and any card can be laminated matt, gloss or soft touch for protection.

Most business card orders are printed and finished in 2–4 working days after the proof is approved, and bulk offset runs of 5,000 cards and above usually take 3–5 working days. Urgent cards can be produced on our Flying Printing express schedule, often the same day.

Runs start from 100 cards. Small quantities are printed digitally because that keeps the unit cost and the turnaround low, while 1,000 cards and above are usually cheaper on offset, so the most economical method is recommended with the quotation.

Yes. Our design team can create the card from your logo and brand colours, or take your finished artwork and prepare it for print with correct bleed, safe margins and print-ready colour.

All four finishes are produced in-house. Gold or silver foil, raised spot UV, embossing and debossing, edge painting and rounded corners can be combined, and each finish is shown on the proof so there are no surprises on the finished card.

Yes. Plastic and PVC cards are printed for membership, loyalty, access and gift cards, with options for matt or gloss finish, variable data such as names and numbers, and barcode or magnetic stripe encoding.

Orders are delivered anywhere in Riyadh and shipped to other cities in Saudi Arabia, and cards can also be collected from our workshop in Tyba District. Delivery timing is confirmed with the quotation before the job is printed.
