Anything that needs offset plates, lamination, binding or die-cutting normally cannot fly same-day. Long runs can also crowd out the machine — ask early.
The File Rules for Same-Day Approval
Express lanes have no time for fixing files. The artwork must be final: PDF/X with 3 mm bleed, 300 DPI for images, fonts outlined, and the exact quantity specified. One return trip for corrections can kill the deadline.
Print-ready means the file accepted at cut-off prints as-is. Ask the press which proofs are waived for express jobs and what the acceptance checklist is.
Cut-Off Times and Collection Windows
Most Riyadh presses set a morning cut-off (around 10:00 to 12:00) for same-day delivery, with collection late afternoon. Invoices accepted after cutoff move to the following morning with or without a rush fee.
